Hi Guys, My Suki just had her litter and started picking them up and moving them from the box. She wanted to feed them but the heating pad was too warm for her so she moved them where she felt comfortable. So I took a large dog crate that I had my bassett hound in when I had him and sterilized it and put her in it, Moved the heating pad to under the crate, took off the door and sat the lid on top without securing it so that I could get into the box if needed, She has not moved them since. I totally agree with the den idea, that is what she wanted. She feels more secure and safe in there and can watch the only opening in the front to keep in eye on her puppies and if you need to get into the crate just pull off the top. They are 3 weeks now and moving around, So I took a piece of cardboard and taped it across the front making the opening only 1/2 as large and low enough for Suki to climb in and they cant get out. Works great !
