I just found three little worm segments in his poop. I'm pretty sure its tapeworms. He's never had any signs of worms before, and I would know because I pick up all of his poop and give it a close look to keep tabs on his health.
I don't even know how this happened, because I thought he was up to date on all that stuff.
He was at the vet all day today for his neuter, could he have picked it up there? Or is it too soon for him to be showing symptoms if he just picked it up today?I've also heard that stress can make dormant worm eggs hatch and become apparent, and this has certainly has been a stressful day for him. Is that a possibility? Or is it just a coincidence that these worms appear the night he comes home from a day at the vet?
I'll go back to the vet tomorrow...the last place I want to go after barely bringing home my baby this evening. This day has been emotional enough already.
