Well, I haven't been able to update because I have been really busy taking care of Brooke and driving back and forth to UC Davis hospital. Brooke had a stroke 4 weeks ago during a Cranial Spinal Tap. She had a bad reaction to the anathesia and came out of it in a contorted c position. She couldn't move and cryed when you moved her. Over the last 4 weeks, her progress has been amazing. She had a few small seizures but she is on predisone and phenobarbitol and she is doing better now. She can stand and walk for a few seconds. She eats and drinks like a champ. She has the heart of a lion and constantly inspires me daily. She has a light inside her that refuses to be extinguished! She is still not normal but she gets stronger everyday and she is determined to live every day to the fullest, which is what we all should be doing. I am very proud of my little girl, and am so grateful that I am her Mommy! Please keep praying for her!
