My little Gidget is only 5 months old and 5 lbs. She never barks at company or at the door etc. when the other dogs bark. I have been extremely busy with my insurance business and have not been able to spend much time with them. I took Gidget with me to the office Saturday and my husband took Max(yorkie) with him to run around. (gidget gets car sick right now) Anyway she was sleeping on my lap and my husband walked in the office. She jumped up in my lap and barked and barked like a rottweiler at my husband, even after he called her name and tried to calm her down. It was so funny. She has never done anything close to that. She has alos decided that she will tell us when its time to get up in the morning. I close the bedroom dor at night and in the morning she stands at the door barking until we get up. This has only been in the last few days. I use to crate her but at 6:00 am she would start barking (way to early for insurance agents)hahaha I guess Gidget now thinks she is the alpha running the household. I guess I'm going to have to change that. ANy suggestions?
