When my husband and I built our first house, our daughter was two. The house was brand new, built by our hands. BUT I have no history on that land, I don't know what was there before or 100 years before.

There were always strange things happening, but no "bad" feelings in the house. There was a time, that a car that was parked at the edge of the woods (his parents old car) that it looked like an interior light was on, but the car had been "gutted" and there was no way a light could be on.

Then, my daughter's Winnie the Pooh doll (her favorite that she carried everywhere) came up missing....we searched that house from top to bottom -(the attic, every box, every spot) - finally, after months, it was in her room??

One morning I went in her room, she had been sick the night before. She had fallen asleep with us and I put her back in her bed. I went to check on her that morning and I woke her up to see if she was feeling okay. She said that she seen me looking at her through her window...every time she woke up, I was there. I don't know if I was "there" in spirit watching over her or if she had an angel that looked like me.

The last "strange" thing with that house was that one night, I felt the urge to get up and check on her. She wasn't in her bed and I felt that "fear" that only a mommy can feel....I ran down the hallway and the french doors (both of them, which one was always latched - locked through the top and the bottom)...both were wide open the wind was blowing in and she was standing there looking ouside with her Winnie the Pooh in one hand and her night gown blowing in the wind. I freaked out! I think she was asleep.

We moved, but not because of those happenings.
