Thank You all so much for your prayers and support.

I do realize that it is not as bad as losing his life. But if he loses a foot, life as we know it today, will cease to exist. He is not young and learning to use a prosthetic would be a long hard road, if he even could ever learn to use one. He has had a stroke and his balance is very poor with two feet.

He is so dependent on me now, I can't imagine how it will be if he loses his foot. I fear I will never be able to leave him alone for more than an hour or two.

We would have to make some major changes to our home to accomodate a wheel chair, and visiting anyone who has stairs would be impossible.
