Ellie is six. She had a yeast infection in her ears. It was ongoing because we thought it was just the normal dog/ear/mite thing. Well, we finally got her checked and it was a yeast infection. That has been treated and she got clearance from the vet. It tries to come back but we have medicine left over and ear flush. I don't think she has any other type of infection but her ears do itch her quite a bit lately.
