I was talking to the receptionist at the dr.s office yesterday (as she was holding one of my dogs
) and she was telling me about her neighbors.
They have two St. Bernards and three Yorkies.
Can you imagine??? I guess the big ones are extremely gentle and wonderful guard dogs. They won't even go into their own house if this lady (the receptionist) has her privacy fence gate open! They even protect her and her daughters.
So, yes, it can work... but I would always be on the lookout and keep them separated when I wasn't around.
