I have been breeding Blue Yorkshire Terriers under 6 lbs for approximately six year with very happy and healthy babes...no deaths or still borns...or deformed...i would also like to let you know that be4 my yorks...i bred labrador retrievers...top lines...Veteranians where always waiting for my pups...black and yellows...I have never in my past 30 yrs had such a heart breaking litter for my kid Emerald and myself...my breeder that i work very closely with ( very recognized yorkie breeder in Ontario) came to my rescue that nite when she was giving birth...( first litter with cesarian~ two very large boys for her to have and couldn't ...my reg vet was on medical leave and the office said they were not sure if he was able to come back...blessing with him...he had the best beside manner u would ever want in a dr. for your kids...including children...talked with u in lemans language, and the animals relaxed with him...as he was very relaxed...Beautiful...like...Ceaser... (dog whisper) can u tell i miss my vet...that i have searched for years to find...any way getting back...I was shocked to find out after i had Emerald xrayed...she had at least 5 pup in side...I asked if he would be on call for me for the size of my girl and that many pups...as i was there on the friday...day 57...i strongly believe that when he tried to insert his finger in her...and couldn't started her in a full swing labor...i only wanted him to check her out as she was leaking fluid and i wanted to make sure again that she could bear them...pups born on day 57...the first two were stillborn completely formed...my breeder could not get any life at all...I actually try mouth to mouth...when they have no color???third pup was extremely small and very tiny...(fragile...but came to life real good)...4th and fifth took quite a bit of time... but were larger and slid right out......Needless to say...my horror for my little girl was first two still born...third...really small lived for 5 days with my intervention...she smothered 4th...she tried to climb a mountain with him...and threw him on the floor...I witnessed it...Emerald is left with the biggest one that she could not get in her mouth..!
she is a wonderful mom...Awful loss...as i treasure all my pups...bring them up with mon...then me...then all my 5 yorkies...that are absolutely wonderful...and teach all their bossy ways...if u know what i mean...
I am looking forward to finding out exactly how to use this site...as i sent this message as soon as it started happening...asking 4 advice...
