So glad that Gizmo is doing well... I'm sure your regular vet will do a check-up after he's done the Vitamin K that you have -- but if not, please ask them to do a test on his "clotting" (I forgot what the test is called) I went through this a year and a half ago -- and Toby had to take the Vit K for about 3 months. They told me to watch out for bruising on his tummy, as that is also a sign of internal bleeding. It sounds like you caught it early enough, and it probably all came up with the throw-ups at the clinic... just do the test for your peace of mind -- if the vet doesn't suggest it! |
