I so appreciate you saying that. Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't say anything, but it just pains me to know that I was so misinformed and that quite possibly other people would be as well.
I know many people think they won't have as many health issues as purebred dogs or that they are really unique and different. I know that I thought that when I purchased mine. I think that all dogs are special and wonderful and I don't take a thing away from mixed breeds. I love my mixed furkids so much! I just didn't know a thing about puppymills or even overpopulation and the role irresponsible breeding plays in it.
They have no part in any wrong doing, it is the breeders that just haphazardly throw different pairings together with no regard for either breed or the dogs in general that are the problem.
Sorry to take over the thread and go off on my rant. I've just spent so many nights thinking about the parents of my dogs and it makes me so sad to know I supported that in any way.
