people trying to stop overpopulation, so why you can find cheap or even free service.
but !
- take references (google),
- ask vet what anastesia they use (gas is more popular, but doesn't work for some dogs with health problems),
- take a blood test BEFORE the surgery to be sure that your yorkie is ok for anastesia...
- ask him if he work with small dogs (birds, etc) because unexperienced vet can give too big doze for a small dog....
- don't let to put any vaccine at the same time (example: small chihuahua had same surgery + vet gave him some shots. result - his back legs were paralyzed on the second day and... he had a seisure. maybe they gave him a big doze, maybe they should have use a better anastesia, I don't know)....
