I really liked Heidi's family, especially when her dad talked to Spencer about how he knows how she is when she's dating someone and she leaves all her friends behind. He hinted that he's not really buying into it lasting forever. If it ends, then what? Spencer couldn't even answer!
On the aftershow when they talked to Heidi on the phone, she said her family LOVES Spencer and what you see on the episode was just a little part, the whole rest of the time they were laughing and joking and they all got along great! I think she's just trying to convince herself!
Oh yeah, and that "what an angel!" part at dinner made me sick. Spencer is such a little player.
