The vet rang today with the results and it is a malignant mass (stage 2 cancer) she has sent his details to a cancer specialist to see if they recommend any further treatment as they have already cut out the lump and some of the surrounding skin. we should know more on friday when we take him in to have his stitches removed.
I feel a bit numb to be honest..seems especially tough to take after just saying goodbye to my yorkie girl in may this year.
I wasn't really expecting it to be bad news...he is such a healthy bouncy dog so happy & full of energy. It's kind of taken the shine off picking up my new baby girl Pixie in a couple of weeks.
