The thins about Yorkies is we all know they only come when they want to - no matter how much training we give - learn to live with it.
But there are some things we can do to make it better.
The above exercises are part of that. Here is another great exercise:
Sit in front of the dog with a treat in your hand. The dog will sniff your hand. Do not react and do not give the dog the treat. Do not move your hand. When it looks into your eyes smile, praise and give treat.
This way you will teach your dog that having eyecontact is a good thing and he will be a lot more willing to give you attention when you need it.
