When I had my first office job (over 30 years ago), I had on a beautiful outfit my mother got for me. It was very stylish - a flowered skirt with an elastic waist and a blouse that went over it with a drawstring at the bottom of the shirt. I was filing one day (had heels on). I was pulling the file drawer back as I was filing in the bottom drawer. I kept going back a little bit at a time as I was filing in the drawer. Finally, I was done in the bottom drawer (yeah!!!). I stood up, and my skirt stayed on the floor - and there I was with my panty hose on. I quickly gathered my skirt and pulled it up.

In this same job, I was not married and a real clothes horse. I bought shoes in all colors. I arrived for work, feeling very stylish. I walked into Human Resources and the secretary asked me if I had two different heels on. One was blue and one was brown!! I ran out of the office and went home to change one of the shoes. To this day, before I walk out the door, I check my shoes to make sure they are both the same color.

Hahaha...I hope you always check your skirt before you stand up too!!!
