I am not sure how much maggie REALLY weighs because of her cast...i'm sure it adds quite a bit. but I'm guess she is right around 5 lbs without the cast. but she has a pretty good size frame. so i'm sure she would put weight on very easily if not watched good. so i will have to be careful with her food. as it is now, i have always let her "graze" through the day because i was so scared of the hyperglycemia thing. we had a bad scare when we first got her and i have been so careful to make sure that doesn't happen again. but, i'm sure we are ok in that department, and i will just make sure she eats when she is supposed to and limit how much i give her.
