Thanks for the suggestions. I hadn't thought of putting a ball in there for him. The got him from a yorkie rescue and they said that the crate needs to only be big enough for him to stand up and turn around in. We had him in a MUCH larger crate and he had multiple accidents in it so we moved to the smaller one. he does great in that crate except the barking. I think we are going to try taking him outside more often and see how that works.
