Well one can hardly blame a pup for going yip yip yip...................& yip when in a crate. It must be dead boring to be confined in a crate just to make life convenient for the humans.
My yorkie would surely be very traumatised if I put her in a crate. She needs to spend her time exploring the house, chasing the cats, finding a sunbeam to lie in, searching for her hidden toys, stealing socks and so much more!
Life is for adventure and fun, and how much fun can it be stuck in a small container for hours every day?
Sure, she does have an occasional mishap on the carpet. But that means we must be more vigilant.
We would never confine her - not even in a room, let alone a crate.
