I do not ever leave her unsupervised around them and they are not allowed to pick her up or to run even slightly close to her. I have a constant eye on them when they are petting her. When I am too busy to watch them with her, I put her in the Master Bathroom and my kids know to leave her until I go back and get her. I undertsand why some breeders will not sell to people with young children, but thank goodness my breeder looks at each buyer as individuals or we wouldn't have Livi. I have taught my children how fragile she is, even though she likes to play with them...my children respect this and are gentle with her.

I think we all agree that accidents do happen. My chihuahua broke his leg when he fell from the back step. I wasn't home and my daughter opened the back door not knowing he was standing right there and the door pushed him off the top step. She felt horrible, we all did.
That being said, Britney's boys are babies themselves and shouldn't be playing with the puppy unsupervised. That's just an invitation to disaster.
