I bought a super cute one for Livi and she freaked when I tried to carry her in because the sides fall in all around her...like it is literally laying on top of her. It is only like this you set the carrier down, but she also did not like the feeling when she was being carried in it....I guess it didn't make her feel secure like a hard-sided one. I had to eventually sell mine when I hadn't even gotten to use it because she hated it so much.
When I tried carry her in it,to see how she would do,she was flopping from side to the other. Just a thought...in case you have never carried your baby in one like this. Maybe it was just Livi and other fur babies don't have a problem with it.
