Default Reverse Sneezing or Collapsing Trachea?

When Vinnie was about 2 months old he started making very distinct "goose honking" noises when he plays. In the past week we've had a few instances of not really a cough or a choke but it sounds like he's sucking air back inside. It has happened when he ate one time, once when he played, once after having his teeth brushed (which he loves and gets all excited) and once just as he was walking. My guess was reverse sneezing but I fear the collapsing trachea. He will be going in the next two months for a 1 year checkup, should I wait or have him seen now?
