Many times, with women especially, sleep disorders are hormone related and the naturally occurring Melatonin in our bodies decreases as we age. I found this information in a book about menopause. Just make sure you are able to get a full 8 hours of sleep - you don't even want to use this if you plan on only 4-5 hours.
