 Terrorists suck!!!
I live in the NYC subs, and my husband commutes every day - not to mention that he frequently travels to London where his "parent company" is based. Around here the inconvenience is just a part of our everyday life.
It's calmed down alot since 911, but we lost SO many friends and neighbors that the typically impatient New Yorkers have become pretty tolerant of delays. (We could actually smell the Trade Centers burning from my yard! My dogs thought it was a skunk, and were going nuts for days trying to find it!)
So keep your humor, keep it in stride, and know that the inconvenience is better than the alternative! After all, at least no one will question why you're late for work, right. Maybe you can get an extra hit on the snooze bar and blame in on a croissandwich wrapper! |
