Default mi laws and county laws

From what we have been told, here Wayne county (Mi) it only takes one bite. The dog is only taken at the time of the bite if it's a person it has bitten. Our next step would have been to go in front of a judge. If the judge deems the dog vicious, then the dog owner has two options. First is to move it out of the county, if the owner can't do so, then the dog is put down. And if you settle, you are only entitled to your vet cost, you can NOT ask that the dog gets training..... I tried!!!!!!!!!!! From what I can make of this whole thing is that it just depends on what state and also what county you live in. Thank all of you for your thoughts. Sadie's hair may never grow back the same way, but I love her the same (maybe even more!)

Thanks again
Amy
