I find Emma and Milli sleep better on a full tummy too
Pretzels are high in carbs and salt, so they're probably not the BEST snack for him, but they're MUCH BETTER than other things you could give him!
Try a teaspoon of cottage cheese, with a tiny bit of fruit in it-like peeled apple, peeled peaches, or a little banana. NO grapes or fruit with seeds, though.
Also, you could try some peanut butter in a Kong (get all natural for him), or some cheerios. My dogs love both!
