Ask your vet if you can get the pill that kills the fleas on them within an hour. Then, when you take him to the groomer, give him the pill right before you drop him off. That way, when you pick him up, they will all be dead. When we give "flea baths" at the vet, we give the pill and then bathe them with a gentle oatmeal shampoo -- no flea shampoo. Every dog goes home flealess. (Or maybe with a few dead fleas in their coat.) |
The pill sounds like a good idea, but he is already on Revolution...shouldn't that have killed the fleas he might have gotten at the groomer? I thought it was supposed to kill the ones he had and keep them off. I am going to call my vet tomorrow because he was treated with his first treatment on the 11th of this month, went to the groomer on the 24th of this month and still has fleas today...live fleas.
