Hi Logan's Mom. I'm not toooooo far from you (in Chicago). I have the $1 dog conditioner from Target and I LOVE IT! I've used about 1/4 of the bottle each time I've bathed Stewie. Its a small bottle and its cheap! I didn't like the conditioner, though. I use Pet Silk. I use a cotton ball and a tear stain remover from Petco to get rid of eye boogers on Stewie. I keep his butt trimmed to prevent "dingleberries". You can also use a tear-free (i use human baby) shampoo to wash near your pup's eyes. I wouldn't recommend using human shampoo all over their body though. It will dry out their coat for sure.
