have you tried cottage cheese or yogart? how old is he...you may need to give him some nutrical stuff if he is lathargic...or syrup if you don't have that. Rice (brown is best but any will do) or scrambled eggs is good too. Keep us posted on how he is doing.
I always give my girls cheese or even peanut butter if they have gone too long in eating and they get the tummy growls. boiled chicken is good too. Make sure he is drinking plenty of water too. if not, syringe in some into the side of his mouth. If he gets dehydrated they vet will probably but a water bubble under his skn between his shoulder blades to hydrate him.
hope that helps...be sure and call your vet if he doesn't get better or take him to an emergency animal clinic if he gets lifeless. These babies can get that hypoglycemia in a flash!! Good luck!! |
