Just incase there is accidents we put panties on our girls with a maxi pad in the panties that way the panties are not soiled .. just the pad. Our boy wears a belly band with a maxi pad in it. I put that on them when they are in the living room. However, if I am not in the living room they stay in the kitchen with Pee pads .... Make a small fenced in area for the yard to take them potty. Something like this
