My Toby (18 months) is not a cuddlier. He'll "tolerate" me holding him for a few minutes then he wants down to go lay on the back of the couch. Even when I put him on the bed with us, he'll go lay at the foot of the bed the majority of the time.

There are a precious few times though when he'll walk over and lay down on my lap but it usually won't be for long unfortunately.
