I'm with you. I used to be a whole lot worse, right down to white knuckles and grinding my teeth about doing it. Then, when I turned 40, there was something that just clicked. I was like, "This is what you look like, fool. It could be worse. Just deal with it."
One of my most excellent friends that I scrapbook with started putting stick figures in group shots to represent me -- and then finally started taking pics of me at every opportunity. She got the ultmate revenge on me last year when she got married, and I was her maid of honor!
