When we got our yorkie as a 9 wk old puppiy she was black with gold markings. Then around 6 months, the gold on her legs, chest & some of the face has turned a creamy color. Am wondering where in the world did the creamy color come from? I hope eventually the gold comes back. Someone said that maybe she is a silkie terrier instead, but I don't believe that. Do yorkies keep changing colors until they are an adult? I think somewhere I have read that.
