i'm embarassed to say that we have fallen behind on Layla's nails. They aren't crazy long... dont' get me wrong... they are a normal length... but i knwo they aren't as short as they shuold be. can someone who clips them regularly tell me how long your dogs nails are from base to tip please. Because we are so behind in the cutting we have been taking a small amount off every few days... but i don't think we are making headway.... what are my options?? i won't take her to petsmart because i don't like it there anymore.... when we do cut her nails too short by accident and they bleed she never flinches, but i can't imagine doing that on purpose... i know the vet can cut them but she would never sit still long enough for him to do them... and i don't want her put out for it... sometimes i use a nail file but i think i'm working harder than the progress i'm making. *sigh* suggestions?? thoughts??
