I bought my yorkie , Chloe , from a pet shop. I guess the more I think about it, I should have found a breeder. Then again things can happen in either situation. When you get a dog from the breeder do they always give the new owner a "dog pedigree" paper work on the dog? Should I request the papers of my dog too from the pet shop?
Here is the problem
Chloe came home with mange. I did not know.
A few days later she was diagnosed. I got Chloe on June 3 (at that time she was 9 weeks). She is now 15 weeks. She has not been able to get rid of the mange. The vet has already given her 3 shots and we go back in 8 days to get a fourth shot. I am so bothered. It's such hassle!
If you have had to deal with this problem please help me with advice because I am ready to loose my mind. What do I need to do? What should I not do? She is so cute and I feel so bad for her because I keep her in her crate most of the time. I walk her for a while and play with her too. Also, her coat is becoming very tangled and dry. Could it be the ivermectin? Is this going to cause defects in the long run (medicine) ? I know I have alot of questions, if you can answer atleast one I would really appreciate it.
