My puppy went to the vet last week and he has kennel cough. Hes on medicine now, but he is cough up this phlegm. It just looks like alot of spit. When I give him medicine of course it turns it white. The problem is he will not spit it out. He spits it up then swallows it again. I try to watch him and as soon as he starts coughing I try to wipe it out of his mouth, but its not working. I'm not sure how to get him to stop and if its making him worse. I'm really worried.
