My first 'baby' was my darling Heidi who passed away in may of this year.
I bought her when i was just 19 and was going through a bit of a tough period in my life..she was there when i met my future husband..was present at our wedding..and was there to welcome home our new born son from the hospital, he is now aged almost 13.
We had 14 long happy years together and had so many experiences..she practically went everywhere with me and to say goodbye to her was just about the hardest thing i have had to do to date. I'm welcoming a new little baby girl into my life in just 2 weeks time..and i hope i have that same companionship for many years too.
