 Avid microchip & PETtrac
Coby was microchipped on Thursday along with his neutering. I am sending in my PETtrac registration. I didn't remember to ask the vet on Thursday but I will when we go back for suture removal. But is there "testing" when microchipping? How do we know the microchip is readable? When we register with PETtrac, how do we know our information was uploaded to the database correctly?
I'm a manager of a fairly technical department, and I never trust ANYTHING technical unless it's tested. So while it's supposed to give me peace of mind, I find I'm still a little leary....... |
