that is a very good way to look at it, i suppose
i'm embarrassed that she is acting like this...but you know, i kinda think it is nice that she is so territorial over us

She said, really, if you think about it, you can understand them not wanting to share. After all, when someone (an adult) comes over to your house, they don't automatically start going through your things, and if they did, you might get upset too. Think about one of your friends, coming over for, say, a luncheon or something, and she just goes upstairs to your bedroom, opens your jewelry box, and starts wearing your jewelry. You'd be pretty peeved.
