I travel with not 1 but both my babies almost every other month. All you need to do is notify the airlines that you are carrying your small guy (or girl) with you. They are always in the cabin with me, not underneath, but the airlines require you place them under the seat. ( I get sneaky and get a blanket to cover my lap in which my babies lay)
