As said above, as soon as she's had her shots.... Find a groomer that is good with PUPPIES. They all aren't. Don't expect much the first couple of times - it's more a training experience for a while (but my groomer does great on even the wiggliest puppies).

problem too. For me, I didn't feel secure with sharp objects roaming around in that region, so I simply gave a nice good warm "soak" to that area. It's just about as gross, but it was easier for me personally. Some people actually wipe their bottoms when the go to avoid that in the first place. If she is a messy pooper, you might want to keep that trimmed up back there after you start going to the groomer. Good sweet-smelling luck!!
