so i know i posted a couple weeks ago about mocha not being in heat....
well i think she is now! she's swollen and her nipples are turning out, but i haven't seen any blood. she does lick down there often, but she has done that ever since i got her. she likes to keep herself really clean.
she's been quite fussy lately, more than usual. always whining and wanting to be by my side-at all times. or she'll just sit there and whine for me, but not want to do anything (eat, play, go potty, etc).
my question is..when does the blood appear? and will she continue to keep herself clean to not let me see any blood? and is it good for them to lick their own blood to keep themselves clean?
should i invest in diapers?
i have no idea what to do if she's in heat. i made a spaying appointment but it looks like that has to be postponed since she's already showing signs.
sigh...they grow up so fast.
