Possibly a storm or some electrical surge...

First, please do EVERYTHING that you did over again! Unplug everything, plug in everything, check ALL the cords & wires for a tight fit. Check your surge protector for the plugs and switch being on. If this does not work then you might have some problems.

BUT, PLEASE DON'T WORRY!!! No matter what happens to your computer, you will be able to recover almost or everything. Unfortunatly computers may be expensive, but your info is important. If you still have problems, find a good tech person or contact the company you bought it from if you have a warrantly. If the problems cannot be resolved, you will need to contact a tech person to recover you hard drive and everything on it, no big deal.
