Have you waited 3 days after bathing to apply the flea control? Or, have you waited at least three days after applying it to bathe him again? Those products work with the oil in the dog's system and if you've just bathed them, it won't work. I learned that lesson the hard way myself.

Almost forgot - try to use a non-detergent shampoo, that helps also. The flea shampoo you're using may be stripping off the product.
