Babybear can not get to it because he still can not walk but my bigger dogs I was scared would get to the bait that is why it is up high. I have little shelves that come off my walls and I place them up there.
I was told by someone the reason people are having troubles with mice and rats is because of all the flooding the mice and rats need to get out of the way and they know about the floods before we do. So they are running into our homes.
good luck with everything and we will keep Gizmo in our thoughts and prayers.
Hi Val,
I think you're right about the flooding causing more rat/mice issues. I just want to ask that you rethink the rat bait in light of our experience. Remember that even if you put it up high enough, the mice will still crawl off somewhere else to die, it doesn't happen immediately. I would HATE for one of your babies to get sick from eating a sick or dead rat who still had high levels of the poison in its system.

There HAVE to be alternative ways to deal with rats/mice. I'll be researching and I encourage you to do so also.

Hugs,
Judy and Gizmo
