Yeah...I really wish if people didn't know something, they would just say they don't know and definitely not try to act like they know everything.

I called to make my Himalayan an appointment at the vet a few months ago. The receptionist that answered the phone asked me what kind of cat I had (actually she said, "is it a domestic short haired or long haired?" as if there are no cat breeds...). I told her I had a Himalayan. She then asked me if she was short or long haired. I asked her if she knew what a Himalayan was (because I know not everyone knows about every dog and cat breed out there). She said she did know what they were but there was a short and long-haired one. No..they are all long haired. I remember thinking why didn't she just say she didn't know what it was instead of just assuming.
