 Too Much Worrying About Size
You know, unless you're showing your Yorkie and MUST be within the standard, I think it's much ado about nothing. My girl is an 8 pounder and very healthy. I used to worry that she was too big and then I began to see more and more Yorkies. It often seems that the weight is where the focus is, but the "demensions" are also an issue. I've seen Yorkies with the same apparent demensions as mine, but weighing less...or more.
Honestly, I think the desire for "purse" puppies has not helped the breed. |
