I use revolution too. I used to use advantage but the vet recommended rev as it does heartworm as well.
Why do I recommend it over the others? Because 2 hours later you can bathe her/him and not lose any of the effect of the product. Swimming, rain etc.. doesn't matter the others they lose their effect.
I apply it the day of her bath and bath her in the afternoon. No more worrying about getting it on my hands either, she clean and protected.
