My girls were super picky eaters too. I had to mix something in with their food for them to eat it but they ended up just eating the good stuff and leaving the dog food.
After all the dog recalls, my research lead me to the LIfe's Abundance dog food. p.s. most of the brands sold in the petsmarts/petco are full of things that the babies don't need. Just read the ingredients and make sure there is no corn, no wheat or soy, and no by-products.
