Yes, I knew about that. It was back in April and affected only the Venison and Brown Rice Dry Dog Food, which I never used. The point to be made was that it wasn't ever determined what was wrong with it, because it wasn't contaminated with melamine since it didn't have any of the ingredients which the other recalled foods had.

It's a personal decision. I feel quite confident in this choice. These are the ingredients of Natural Balance Ultra Premium:
